Allendale artists' work on display for Christmas
Three venues in Allendale will be taking part in this year's Christmas Art Tour.
The festive tour is organised by Network Artists and takes place in twenty different places around the region, running on weekends until Christmas.
Art lovers and Christmas present seekers will have the chance to look around at artists' work, often in beautiful surroundings, while enjoying a friendly seasonal welcome from the artists themselves.
Ross Beedle is welcoming visitors to his farm just outside Allendale to browse photographs and Christmas gift ideas while enjoying food from a vegetarian coffee shop every weekend until December 21.
Meanwhile Broadwood Hall will host work from eight creative artists on the 12 and 13 of December. Jewellery, ceramics, clocks and paintings are available to buy.
Further north at Whitfield Hall, artist Sarah Blackett-Ord will be displaying her original paintings for sale in her studio on the 22nd and 29th November and 6th December, with refreshments and beautiful walks in the surrounding area open to visitors.
The opening times for the events are 11am- 5pm. View the Christmas Art Tour leaflet at www.networkartists.org.uk for full details about the tour.
